A four hour workshop on Working with a Person in Psychosis will be held on Tuesday afternoon, March 13th, 2012, at the Ohio University Innovation Center in Athens, Ohio. The workshop, accredited by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board, will present new insights and innovative techniques for working with people experiencing psychosis. The workshop will be presented by Milt Greek, M.A., a person with schizophrenia who has volunteered extensively with people in psychosis and post-psychosis and received excellent reviews from his years of presenting on schizophrenia and recovery. Comments on Milt’s material include:

“Milton Greek’s CIT presentation is one of the best I’ve seen. His talk, ‘Basics of Psychotic Thinking and Feeling’, mesmerized the audience.” – Fred Frese, Ph. D., Assoc. Professor of Psychiatry, Northeast Ohio Medical University

“Milt is one of the most articulate and astute authorities on schizophrenia I have ever had the privilege to know or hear.” – Tom Walker, NAMI Ohio Board of Trustees

“Milt’s experience and presentations are critical for those who work with persons with thought disorders.” – Diane Pfaff, MSW, Athens-Hocking-Vinton 317 Mental Health Board

Mental health professionals, family members, and peers are welcomed to attend this workshop. For more information, prices and to register for the event, please see the Registration Brochure or send an email to: miltgreek@gmail.com.
